BLOCK GRANT FUNDED HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM

The Towns of Oak Bluffs and Edgartown are currently accepting applications for their Community Development Block Grant funded Housing Rehabilitation Programs, managed by TRI-The Resource Inc.

The Oak Bluffs Housing Rehabilitation Program is available to income qualified homeowners and tenants in the Towns of Oak Bluffs, Tisbury and Chilmark.

The Edgartown Housing Rehabilitation Program is available to income qualified homeowners and tenants in the towns of Edgartown, West Tisbury and Aquinnah.

The Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program has been created as a “Moderate Housing Rehabilitation Program” whose grant priorities are to:

Address the health and safety repairs in single-family, owner occupied properties.

Increase and maintain the supply of affordable, year round rental housing.

*DEFERRED FORGIVEABLE Loans of up to $40,000.00 at 0% interest may be available to income qualified applicants.

If you make at or below the income listed for your household size in the chart below and funds are available, you may qualify for a Deferred, forgivable Loan of up to $40,000.00 for Moderate Housing Rehabilitation.
